Beer Tasting with Innovation Brewing

Help us celebrate our 2-year anniversary with a beer tasting with Innovation Brewing. There will be free samples as well as beer for purchase on tap & to carry out. For this event, we will tap what is probably the last keg in the world of the first edition of Innovation's legendary Two Wheelin' BBA Imperial Stout. This is your chance to drink WNC history. Innovation is located in Sylva, NC.

Beer Tasting with Foothills Brewing and Haywood Waterways and Carolina Raptor Center Fundraiser

Help us celebrate our 2-year anniversary with a beer tasting with Foothills Brewing that is also a fundraiser for Haywood Waterways and the Carolina Raptor Center. From 5-8 our Foothills rep will be serving samples of their delicious beers and from 4-6 Haywood Waterways will be staffing an information table. Additionally, the special Foothills draft beer we are serving supports the Carolina Raptor Center. Foothills is located in Winston Salem, NC; Haywood Waterways supports conservation efforts in and around Haywood County; and the Carolina Raptor Center is located in Huntersville, NC.

Don Hendershot Reading

Don Hendershot, author of “The Naturalist’s Corner” column, will be at Blue Ridge Beer Hub, 21 East St. Waynesville, Friday May 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. Don will be there to talk about and read from his new book A Year from the Naturalist’s Corner Volume I. The book is a compilation of 52 columns from his long-running Naturalist’s Corner column in a January through December format. Join Don for an informal discussion about The Naturalist’s Corner, his new book, and the rich natural history of Western North Carolina. Books will be available for purchase at a price of $15 including tax.
